Park the free King on the fight, then fund castle, Barracks, and siege in that order.

King and Army

The King in MEDIEVAL REAL TIME STRATEGY is free. Players treat free as optional and wander him into fog while Builders idle. His radius buffs heal, attack, and build speed. If the radius is not on the fight, you paid full price for every Swordman and every mill. This page is the army those buffs assume. Social grouping sits on the sibling alliance teamwork page. Rank grades sit on the unit value ranks.

Matches are online. You win by destroying every enemy castle. Ranked unlocks after level 7. Matchmaking buckets are 1-5 and 6+. The game has been free on Roblox since 8 September 2022, published under Spling.

Keep the King on the job

Stand the King on:

  • The mill line while Builders claim farms.
  • The wall while Repairmen slap Watchtowers.
  • The Knight front when Crossbowers start shooting.
  • The War Wagon walk when a Medic is trying to keep Mages alive.

Do not park him in an empty courtyard, and do not chase a thief while your Barracks ball is fighting. The thief still has to walk home to cash about 25 percent of stolen castle funds.

Build speed in radius is easy to forget. A Builder Hut cap of 6 (Armory extra) still needs the King nearby when you race a neighbour to the third Windmill. Community mill notes sit near 11 gold per minute on a farm; Castle income chatter sits near 25. Those numbers only matter if the buildings actually finish.

Castle army

Builder, about 10 gold. First buy, every match. Send them to farm tiles, not to a decorative wall. The opening gold plan times the first minute; the farm and gold guide explains why dirt mills fail.

Swordman. Cheap early rush. Community still treats it as real. Legion badge tracks 15 in one match. After Knights exist, Swordmen are bodies, not a plan.

Archer. Stopgap ranged from the keep. Crossbowers from Barracks usually take the job.

Repairman. Wall glue. Pairs with King radius. Does not win a keep by himself.

Barracks at about 35 gold unlocks the adult line and is generally not upgraded. Knights tank. Crossbowers are the efficient cheap ranged floor in community consensus. Longbowers are situational beside that floor. Mage wants a War Wagon and a Medic, not a solo stroll. Wizard splash deletes packed ranged and is expensive and weak versus buildings unless Trebuchets already chew walls.

Siege crews the King must escort

Catapult for clumps of troops. Trebuchet for buildings. Ballista for a single target and fire arrows. Community prefers Catapult over Ballista into blobs. War Wagon loads with Q. Balloons skip tower lines; they are a pathing cheat, not a fair fight. Hospital Medic exists so the wagon package survives tower fire. Spearman exists to dismount cavalry and is otherwise weak. Do not fill a King escort with Spearmen because the silhouette looks brave.

Walk siege under radius. A Trebuchet with no King and no Knights is a donation. The siege push walkthrough is the route; this page is the escort rule. Water maps add Port, fishing boats, sea towers, attack ships, and battleships. Spell factory is late - the King cannot buff a shop into a win.

Army packages that actually move

Rush package. Builders, Swordmen, King on the walk. Skip the third mill if their keep is naked. Legion 15 is a flex, not a requirement.

Lane package. Mills, Barracks, Knights, Crossbowers, King on the front. Watchtower as a tripwire (community chatter near 40 HP and 8 damage every 2 seconds). Walls if you need stall.

Break package. Trebuchets plus Knights, King on the guns. Wizard only after walls are already taking hits.

Wagon package. Mage, War Wagon (Q), Medic, King on the convoy. Community repeats this push for a reason.

Skip package. Balloons over a tower maze while a second group threatens the real road.

Pick one package. Mixing five is how gold evaporates. The win-condition checklist is the reminder that the keep, not the highlight, ends the match. Allies should not all walk the same package: one mills, one escorts siege. That split lives on the alliance teamwork page. Names without ranks sit on the full troop roster. Building grades sit on the structure value ranks. Parent map: players hub.

Park the King. Then spend.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for codes, ranked, windmills, and siege fights.

Does the King cost gold?

No. The King is free. His value is the radius buff to heal, attack, and build speed. If he is not on the fight, you are playing without that buff.

What should I train from the Castle first?

Builders at about 10 gold, onto farms. Then Swordmen if you are rushing, or mills if the lane is quiet. Repairmen wait until walls exist. Archers wait unless Barracks is delayed.

Why do my Wizards die on walls?

Community consensus: Wizard splash is weak versus buildings unless Trebuchets already chew the line. Escort Trebuchets with Knights and the King instead of throwing Wizards at stone.

How does War Wagon work with the army?

Press Q to load units. Community pairs Mage plus Medic in the wagon and walks under King radius. An empty wagon is a slow target.

Where do Spearman and thief fit?

Spearman counters cavalry and dismounts horses; weak otherwise. A Robber steals about 25 percent of castle funds in stealth and must return home to cash. Both are specialists, not the core Barracks line.

Should allies all follow the same King?

No. Each player has a King. Split jobs: one radius on mills and walls, one radius on siege. See the alliance teamwork page for the social split.
